The furniture is firm and feels like it will last a very long time. The ottoman top comes off for storage and that was a surprise to us.
The rustic sideboard is absolutely perfect for our use! We love the color and accents. We could not be more pleased with the products from this company.

"What really matters with a company is how they handle potential problems. San Carlos did a great job with my order helping me through some questions and also a mishandling of my delivery by the freight company. First every time I called the number for their customer service, a real person answered my call immediately! When I first called I had a question about how the freight delivery would happen and they answered it properly. When my freight was delivered it was dropped off incorrectly with no one at the house and with apparent damage on the outside of the shipping packaging. I called notified San Carlos, and again someone immediately picked up my phone call let me explain what was happening and then they reassured me that they will stand behind their product and make it right no matter what we found after opening the damaged packaging. It turns out the furniture itself was fine it was just the packaging. But the way the San Carlos helped through this order and most importantly reassured me that they were going to make sure I was happy customer, means that I will absolutely order them again! Honestly, some of the credit goes to our warehouse guy, they will be glad to hear you mentioned that the "item was wrapped well and arrived in perfect condition". Did you know that before the piece is shipped, the guys in the warehouse inspect the piece for any defects, damages, and noticeable imperfection in the wood, before the item is pack and box the piece. This inspection process is time consuming, but an important step in the ordering process, to assure a quality piece of rustic furniture is delivered without any issues and safe. So shout out for the guys in the warehouse. We hope you enjoy the piece for many years.
